Transitioning from a freshman in ROTC to a senior is one of the largest leaps a cadet will never notice. While the changes both in maturity, capability and trust will be immense, the Military Science Department at the University of Louisville follows the national ROTC curriculum, designed to acclimate individuals to the program before increasing their responsibility within the unit.
For a Cadet to be successful they must first crawl before they can walk. While many desire to be in leadership positions, it is always imperative to learn to follow before one can become an effective leader.
